Di’s journey as a children’s author flows naturally from her lifelong love of animals and nature. Originally from China and settled in Hong Kong, she shares her creative space with the ultimate inspiration team—one loyal dog and two mischievously entertaining cats, who inspire the characters and plots in her stories.

Her stories have beautiful balance of wide-eyed wonder and heartfelt messages and invite the reader to discover beauty hiding in plain sight – whether it’s noticing a butterfly’s delicate dance between skyscrapers or finding unexpected friendship beside a peaceful forest stream.
