Maygon Lucart is the author of “The Fancy Flamingo.” Born and raised in Texas, she has always had a love for tropical destinations and the tall, beautiful, pink bird, the flamingo. Fashion has also been a constant passion in her life, so she combined the two and brought this fancy illustration to life.
Maygon has always been one to not always follow the crowd, so when she contemplated what she wanted this character to be, she knew the flamingo had to be unique and stand out. Her goal was to create an underlying message about being true to oneself and following God’s design for one’s life. She hopes this book encourages readers to do just that!
After all, in Maygon’s opinion, you can never be too fancy!
