Rebecca Sloan

Rebecca Sloan is a nationally certified ASL interpreter who brings “Story Time With Karyn” to life for deaf and hard of hearing children. With over 9 years of professional interpreting experience, Rebecca skillfully translates Karyn’s engaging storytelling into American Sign Language.

As part of our creative team, Rebecca ensures that every story is fully accessible and inclusive. Her expressive signing style captures the essence of each tale, allowing viewers to experience the magic of storytelling regardless of their hearing ability.

Dedicated to both accessibility and education, Rebecca is currently completing her PhD in criminal justice while raising her two children, Myla and Leon, in Kentucky. She is passionate about creating an inclusive environment where all children can enjoy and learn from the cherished stories on our channel.
