Su has been married to Darren for over 30 years and has two grown up children. They live in rural Hertfordshire in the UK. Having entertained her family and friends with her rhymes throughout her life, she has now finally taken the next step to bring her humorous rhyming stories to a wider audience.
Su works in a village primary school office, but has combined this with becoming a visiting author to the WI and in schools all around Hertfordshire. She says her author journey will take her out of her comfort zone, but is something she is grabbing with both hands. She loves to talk about her writing and her new career with ‘Shirley Murley’ and the new books and characters she is working on.
