Jose Jaramillo is a first-generation Mexican American and a celebrated author known for his captivating children’s adventure books. He was born and raised in California’s Central Valley and experienced a blend of cultural richness alongside the challenges of being part of a hardworking immigrant family.
Jaramillo’s life story is full of twists and turns. He studied Neuroscience, Physiology, and Behavior at UC Davis. But after a sports injury left him disabled, he redirected his energy and found a new passion for storytelling, crafting adventurous books for kids.
