About the Author Nadia Ho Torres is an award-winning, bestselling author of eleven books published in Vietnamese, English, and Spanish. Born in Vietnam and growing up as a third-culture kid in Europe, she cultivated her curiosity about other cultures and people through learning languages, making friends globally, and eventually traveling to and living on five continents. She is currently living in Silicon Valley, California with her Mexican husband Miguel and their rag-doll cat Cecil.
